Bluelight is a leading software consultancy seeking a skilled backend developer to join our growing team. You will design, build, and maintain high-performance backend systems using Elixir and the Phoenix framework.

You will own features from concept to release, collaborating with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver well-architected services. We value continuous learning and a collaborative, agile work environment.

Formación

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency with Elixir and the Phoenix framework.
• Experience with OTP, concurrent and distributed systems.
• Proven experience designing and building RESTful APIs (and/or GraphQL) and working with PostgreSQL (Ecto).
• Strong product sense and passion for building reliable, scalable systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration in an agile team.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain backend systems and APIs using Elixir and Phoenix.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate requirements into scalable services.
• Own features from conception to launch, including technical specs and release processes.
• Write unit and integration tests; participate in code reviews to ensure quality.
• Identify bottlenecks and optimize performance, scalability, and fault tolerance.
• Stay up-to-date with Elixir ecosystem to drive innovation.
