faurecia S.A. is looking for a Customer Relationship Engineer in Silao, Guanajuato. This role focuses on developing customer satisfaction by promoting a quality culture through teamwork and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will have an engineering degree, 3 to 5 years of experience in the automotive industry, and in-depth knowledge of quality engineering techniques. Responsibilities include representing the plant, ensuring compliance with standards, and maintaining customer portals.

Formación

• 3 to 5 years of experience in an industrial environment, preferably automotive.
• In-depth knowledge of quality engineering techniques including PPAP, APQP, GD&T, MSA, SPC, FMEA.
• Experience with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, internal audit.

The Customer Relationship Engineer is responsible for developing customer satisfaction by relying on a controlled production process. Through teamwork, continuous improvement and the Faurecia Excellence System (FES), the engineer promotes a quality culture and serves as the primary plant representative to the customer.

Responsibilities

• Be the main representative of the plant to the customer
• Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 requirements
• Organize and participate in all technical meetings with the customer (solve technical problems, manage changes, progress reporting, and ensure all required validations are completed)
• Monitor and maintain customer portals, ensuring all requirements such as IATF Certificate, CQI‑15, APQP, and PPAP dates are up to date
• Audit related storage sites and the customer assembly line to ensure proper product use
• Define and enforce the scale of demerit products in accordance with customer specifications
• Collaborate with Production Quality to resolve customer concerns daily, including incident analysis and action planning
• Validate and accept packaging ranges
• Manage warranty claims, protecting the customer and actively resolving issues

Qualifications

• Industrial, manufacturing and/or mechanical engineering degree
• 3 to 5 years of experience in an industrial environment, preferably automotive
• In‑depth knowledge of quality engineering techniques including PPAP, APQP, GD&T, MSA, SPC, FMEA, RFMEA and Control Plan
• Familiarity with program standards, tools and methods
• Strong customer‑satisfaction orientation
• Minimum bilingual capability; English required
• Experience with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, internal audit, CQI‑15, CIQ and LPA
• Problem‑solving skills (8D, QRCI)
• Proficiency with SAP, Minitab, Microsoft Office and MLEAN
• Specific client requirements knowledge (GM, Chrysler, HKMC, etc.)
