Bosch México is seeking a Customer Quality Engineer to ensure processes, products, and systems meet internal standards, customer requirements, and regulatory quality requirements on the production floor.

You will drive root cause analysis, implement corrective and preventive actions, participate in audits, and lead quality planning during new product launches while collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain and improve overall quality performance for automotive and consumer goods

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
• 3 to 7 years of experience in quality and customer management.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and VDA standards.
• Experience with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and the 8D methodology.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
• Strong customer-facing communication skills
• Ability to lead customer meetings, calls, and audits professionally
• Skilled in explaining technical issues clearly to customers and internal teams
• Strong communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and cross-functional teamwork skills.

Job Description

The Customer Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring that processes, products, and systems comply with internal standards, customer requirements, and applicable quality regulations. This role supports the production floor by identifying quality issues, driving root cause analysis, implementing corrective and preventive actions, and ensuring robust process control. The Customer Quality Engineer participates in audits, manages documentation, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to maintain and improve quality performance. Additionally, they lead quality planning during new product launches and ensure compliance with customer-specific requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience in quality/customer-facing roles)
• 3 to 7 years of experience in quality and customer management.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and VDA standards.
