Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Cost Management professional to support feasibility studies, review designs, and develop cost breakdowns. The role requires English and Spanish proficiency and expertise in procurement and contract administration.

You will lead commercial aspects, prepare monthly cost reports, and liaise with the client and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. Site-based work may be required in Veracruz, Mexico.

Qualifications

• 3 years of professional experience in Engineering Cost Management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Architecture or related field.
• RICS or AACE certifications/memberships.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills; knowledge of CostX and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a budget estimate to support feasibility studies using parametric cost analysis.
• Review designs at Concept, Schematic Design, DD & IFC, prepare quantity take-offs and a quantified BOQ cost breakdown.
• Prepare cost estimate reports and present results to stakeholders including the Client.
• Manage procurement processes and contracting strategies; participate in negotiations and bid evaluations.
• Verify change control processes; document design changes and negotiate change orders.
• Ensure payment applications align with contract requirements and evaluate interim payments.
• Review final commercial account closeout and ensure substantial completion is approved.
• Lead client and stakeholder interfacing; report and present all commercial aspects of the project.
