Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Mexico City seeks an experienced Cost Manager to lead cost control on international projects. You will manage budgets, BOQ cost breakdowns, and procurement strategy with a global client base.

The role requires 8-12 years in cost management, fluency in English and Spanish, and professional certifications in cost/quantity surveying. On-site work with occasional site visits is expected.

Qualifications

• 8-12 years professional experience related to Cost Management.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• RICS, AACE Certifications/Memberships.
• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Architecture or related field.

Responsibilities

• Conduct budget estimates to support feasibility studies.
• Review designs at Concept, SD, DD & IFC stages and prepare BOQ.
• Prepare cost estimate reports and present to stakeholders.
• Manage procurement processes, strategies and negotiations.
• Verify change control processes and approve budget adjustments.
• Review interim and final payments against contract conditions.
• Lead a cost management team and ensure QAQC on deliverables.
• Maintain relationships with stakeholders and report on commercial aspects.
