Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Cost Management professional for a role based in Mexico. The candidate will support feasibility studies with parametric cost analysis, review construction designs across stages, and develop detailed BOQs and cost breakdowns for client presentations.

The role includes managing procurement activities, negotiating strategies, and ensuring change orders and payments align with contract requirements.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years professional experience related to Cost Management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Architecture.
• RICS, AACE Certifications/Memberships.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Strong MS Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBi skills; knowledge of CostX and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a budget estimate to support feasibility studies using parametric cost analysis.
• Review designs at Concept, SD, DD & IFC stages and prepare quantity take-offs and a quantified BOQ.
• Prepare cost estimate reports and present results to stakeholders including Client.
• Manage procurement processes, implementing and negotiating procurement strategies and RFP evaluations.
• Verify change control processes, document changes, and negotiate changes with the Client and GC/ subcontractors.
