Job summary

Intugo, a U.S.-based company, seeks a Collections Specialist I to join its Accounting & Finance team on a 3-month temporary contract. You will manage customer accounts, apply payments, resolve billing discrepancies, and maintain accurate records while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include cash applications, collections calls, month-end support, and collaboration with internal teams.

Qualifications

• Advanced English proficiency required.
• Prior customer service, data entry, or collections experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Contact customers to collect outstanding balances and follow up on overdue accounts.
• Prepare balance summary reports and reconcile customer accounts.
• Review account notes and maintain accurate customer records.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, unapplied payments, and payment issues.
• Process account adjustments, write-offs, refunds, and credits as needed.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve customer concerns.
• Assist with month-end Accounts Receivable activities and reporting.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.
