Job summary

Intugo Mexico is seeking a Collections Specialist I to support a US-based Accounting & Finance team on a 6-month temporary contract. You will manage customer accounts, process collections, apply payments, and resolve billing discrepancies while ensuring accurate financial records and excellent customer service.

Key duties include coordinating with internal departments, performing month-end AR activities, and maintaining strict adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• Advanced English proficiency is required.
• Experience in customer service, data entry, or collections is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills are essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are expected.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities is required.

Responsibilities

• Process collections and cash application transactions accurately and on time.
• Contact customers to collect outstanding balances and follow up on overdue accounts.
• Prepare balance summary reports and reconcile customer accounts.
• Review account notes and maintain accurate customer records.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, unapplied payments, and payment issues.
• Process account adjustments, write-offs, refunds, and credits as needed.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve customer concerns.
• Assist with month-end Accounts Receivable activities and reporting.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.
