Park Hyatt Mexico City in Polanco invites an experienced Bars Manager to shape the opening and run daily bar operations in a luxury setting.

You will lead the bar team, manage beverage quality, develop cocktail programs, control costs, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal requirements while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, tourism, or business required.
• 3–5 years of bar/beverage operations experience.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, wines, and spirits.
• Proven leadership and staff development skills.
• Experience with budgeting, purchasing, and inventory.
• Excellent communication and guest service.
• Fluent in Spanish and strong English; other languages a plus.
• Knowledge of local alcohol regulations and health and safety.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays.

Asa Bars Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel’s bars, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and consistent adherence to Park Hyatt’s luxury service standards. This role leads the bar team, manages beverage quality and inventory, develops creative cocktail programs, controls costs, and ensures compliance with health, safety, and legal requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality, Tourism, Business, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience managing bars or beverage operations, preferably in a luxury hotel or upscale restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, wines, spirits, mixology, and current beverage trends.
• Proven leadership, staff-training, and team-development skills.
• Experience with budgeting, cost control, purchasing, and inventory management.
• Excellent communication and guest-service abilities.
• Fluent Spanish and strong English proficiency; additional languages are an advantage.
• Knowledge of local alcohol regulations, food safety, and responsible-service practices.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
