Job summary

Klar is seeking a Business Analyst (B2B Collections) in Mexico City to monitor collections performance, optimize processes, and develop data-driven strategies to maximize recovery across the business credit portfolio.

You will transform data into actionable insights, automate processes, and collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to drive efficiency and improve recovery outcomes in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field.
• Advanced SQL skills for large dataset analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis.
• Experience in analytics for financial services or credit risk.
• Ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations.
• Experience building dashboards and automated reports.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a startup environment.
• Advanced English.
• Python and Tableau experience is a plus.
• Experience with credit portfolios or delinquency analytics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze key collection metrics, including CEI and recovery rates.
• Segment portfolios by delinquency bucket and balance to optimize strategies.
• Maintain, validate, and automate collections databases and reports.
• Monitor external collection agencies' performance and allocations.
• Develop and validate agency incentive schemes linked to recovery objectives.
• Identify opportunities to improve recovery via portfolio segmentation and treatments.
• Collaborate with Tech and Product to improve collections tools.
• Build and maintain dashboards and automated performance reports.
• Forecast delinquency and recovery trends to anticipate risks.
• Evaluate renegotiation performance and repayment behavior for optimization.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure data alignment.
