Job summary

ABB is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to contribute to medium voltage design work in San Luis Potosi. You will generate Class I, II and III drawings, single line diagrams, BOMs and equipment selections while engaging with customers on product questions.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, 1+ year of electrical design experience, and advanced English. On-site work in San Luis Potosí with opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or equivalent field.
• 1+ year of experience in electrical design projects.
• Proficient with E-plan, AutoCAD Electrical or similar design systems.
• SAP or similar ERP proficiency and MS Office suite.
• Advanced English required.

Responsibilities

• Create Class I, II and III drawings for Medium Voltage systems.
• Create single line diagrams, elementary, control and protection diagrams.
• Prepare Bills of Materials and select suitable electrical equipment.
• Assist customers with product-related questions and comments.
