ABB in San Luis Potosí is seeking an Electrical Engineer to act as a design authority for medium voltage electrical boards and MCCs. You will create drawings, single line diagrams, BOMs, and select equipment for cost-efficient projects while applying design-for-excellence concepts.

Minimum 3+ years in MV boards design, proficiency in E-plan, AutoCAD Electrical, and SAP ERP; a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or related field; English mid-advanced. On-site role with competitive benefits.

Formación

• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or equivalent field required.
• 3+ years in MV electrical boards and MCCs design with protection and control know-how.
• Proficiency in E-plan and AutoCAD Electrical; SAP ERP experience.
• Mid-Advanced English language skills expected.

Responsabilidades

• Create Class I, II and III drawings for Medium Voltage electrical boards and MCCs.
• Create single line arrangements, elementary, control and protection diagrams.
• Create Bills of Materials.
• Select adequate Electrical Equipment.
• Assist customers with product-related questions and comments.

This position reports to:

Senior Engineering Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by applying basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects.

The work model for the role is: #LI-Onsite

This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions division in San Luis Potosi.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Creating Class I, II and III drawings for Medium Voltage Electrical boards and MCCs.
• Creating single line arrangements, elementary, control and protection diagrams
• Creating Bills of Materials.
• Selecting adequate Electrical Equipment.
• Assisting customer on product related questions/comments.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelors in Electrical Engineering, electro-mechanical engineer, control or automation engineer, mechanical-electrician engineer or similar.
• 3+ Years of Experience in Medium Voltage Electrical boards and MCCs design, Protection and Control knowledge.
• E-plan, AutoCAD electrical or similar electrical design system proficiency
• SAP or similar ERP Proficiency
• Mid - Advanced English
