Job summary

ABB is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to coordinate site works, support bids and manage project costs in Mexico. You will ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while collaborating with customers and external resources.

The role involves up to 70% travel nationwide and contribution to a cleaner, smarter future with ABB's Electrification Distribution Sales and Solutions division.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Electro-mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience with electrical systems testing, design, installation and maintenance.
• Experience with Eplan or AutoCAD Electrical.
• Willingness to travel up to 70%.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate site-works activities with external resources and customers.
• Provide technical support to bid teams during proposals and to project managers at startup.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity regulations, standards, and contract requirements.
• Support cost-control and monitor spend against forecasts.
• Perform site surveys and determine steps to execute activities.
• Update project cost adjustments in the business system.
• Define Guarantee management and acceptance.

Each day, you will provide technical support for all site works related issues to the proposal team during bid preparation and to the Project Manager at the project start up.
