ABB in San Luis Potosí seeks an Electrical Design Engineer to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. You will complete small projects or portions of larger ones with cost-effective methods and apply basic design thinking concepts.

The role reports to Engineering Manager and requires proficiency in E-plan/AutoCAD Electrical, SAP, and advanced English, with onsite work in San Luis Potosí.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 1+ year of experience in electrical design projects.
• Proficient in E-plan or AutoCAD Electrical.
• SAP/ERP proficiency and MS Office experience.
• Advanced English required.

Responsabilidades

• Create Class I, II and III drawings for Medium Voltage.
• Create single line arrangements, elementary, control and protection diagrams.
• Create Bills of Materials.
• Select adequate electrical equipment.
• Assist customers with product-related questions.

This position reports to: Engineering Manager

In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by applying basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects.

The work model for the role is: #LI-Onsite

This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions division in San Luis Potosi.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Creating Class I, II and III drawings for Medium Voltage .
• Creating single line arrangements, elementary, control and protection diagrams
• Creating Bills of Materials.
• Selecting adequate Electrical Equipment.
• Assisting customer on product related questions/comments.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelors in Electrical Engineering, electro-mechanical engineer, control or automation engineer, mechanical-electrician engineer or similar.
• 1+ Years of Experience in Electrical design projects
• E-plan, AutoCAD electrical or similar electrical design system proficiency
• SAP or similar ERP Proficiency and MS Office apps
• Advanced English required
