Job summary

ABB is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to act as a design authority for MV boards and MCCs, onsite in San Luis Potosí. You will create class I-III drawings, single line diagrams, BOMs, and assist customers with technical queries.

You should have a 3+ year track record in MV board design and proficiency with E-plan/AutoCAD Electrical, SAP ERP, and good English communication. This role supports the Electrification Distribution Solutions division in Mexico.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of MV board and MCC design experience.
• Protection and Control knowledge.
• Proficiency in E-plan, AutoCAD Electrical or similar.
• SAP or similar ERP proficiency.
• Mid-Advanced English communication.

Responsibilities

• Create Class I, II and III drawings for MV electrical boards and MCCs.
• Create single line arrangements, elementary, control and protection diagrams.
• Create Bills of Materials.
• Select adequate electrical equipment.
• Assist customers on product related questions.
