Job summary

Amazon Mexico is seeking Transportation Area Managers to support yard operations across 13 FCs, 3 SCs and 1 IXD. You will lead a team, align fulfillment center operations with transportation execution, and drive safety, quality and productivity in a fast-moving logistics environment.

You’ll apply lean tools, set performance targets, analyze metrics and partner with site leadership to deliver best-in-class customer experience while maintaining safe workplaces and compliant operations.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Can push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team focused on yard operations, aligning FC with transportation execution.
• Plan and manage yard capacity and trailer pool for designated site.
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and procedures.
• Drive high safety standards for all yard operations, ensuring safe work environment for Amazon and non-Amazon workers.
• Audit and ensure compliance to all standard work, Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) and environmental regulations
• Meet and exceed operational goals.
• Own area performance metrics and communicate them to TOM and site leadership
