Job summary

Amazon Inc. is seeking a Transportation Operations Management (TOM) professional to lead a team overseeing yard operations across multiple sites in Mexico.

You will align Fulfillment Center operations with transportation execution and drive efficient trailer movement. This role emphasizes safety, compliance with WHS and environmental regulations, and delivering on-time departure metrics while reporting area performance to TOM and site leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years Amazon experience.
• 1+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• 1+ years of metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team focused on yard operations, aligning FC operation with transportation execution.
• Plan and manage yard capacity and trailer pool for designated site.
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and procedures.
• Drive high safety standards for all yard operations, ensuring a safe work environment for Amazon and non-Amazon workers.
• Audit and ensure compliance to standard work, WHS and environmental regulations.
• Meet and exceed operational goals.
• Own area performance metrics and communicate them to TOM and site leadership.
