Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Manager in Nuevo León to lead and develop a team of warehouse associates in a busy sort center. You will coach, mentor, and support the shift, driving safety, quality and customer experience.

You will work with Lean and Six Sigma tools to identify process improvements and deliver operational excellence, with flexibility for overtime during peak periods as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 1+ years of team leadership experience.
• Experience in oral and written English communication.
• Experience with six sigma tools and lean techniques.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of 30-80 hourly associates by embodying Amazon’s Leadership Principles.
• Proactively identifying and leading process improvements using Lean tools.
• Ensure proper training and address team members' needs to stay focused on their tasks.
• Be available for overtime during peak seasons and year-round as needed.
• Maintain high levels of safety, quality, attendance and engagement.
