Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Manager to lead and develop a team of Amazon Associates at the León Fulfillment Center (BJX1). You will mentor, coach, and drive safety, quality, and performance across shifts and weekend scheduling. The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 1+ years of managing large teams, and strong English communication skills.

You will partner with leadership to maintain OSHA safety standards, operational efficiency, and customer-focused results in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Experience managing large teams (50+ members).
• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience in oral and written communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and develop a team of 20 to 50 Amazon Associates.
• Communicate policies to Associates and act as the primary information source for the team, maintaining compliance and taking corrective action when needed.
• Create, manage, and support recognition and communication programs.
• Support all safety programs and OSHA compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all Associates.
• Ensure procedures are followed for building security and product loss prevention.
• Partner with the management team to establish and maintain quality control standards.
• Develop performance goals and objectives to achieve customer demand and ensure accuracy and quality.
