Job summary

Amazon in León, Guanajuato seeks an Area Manager to lead and develop a team of 20 to 50 Associates in a fulfillment center. You will coach, mentor, and ensure safety, quality, attendance, and engagement while aligning to operational goals.

The role emphasizes hands-on people management, process improvement, and collaboration with site leadership to meet customer demand and drive metrics in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Experience in the management of large teams (50+ members).
• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience in oral and written communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and develop a team of 20 to 50 Amazon Associates.
• Communicate policies to Associates and act as the primary information source for the team, maintaining compliance, consistency, and taking corrective action when needed.
• Create, manage, and support recognition and communication programs.
• Support all safety programs and OSHA compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all Associates.
• Ensure procedures are followed for building security and product loss prevention.
• Partner with the management team to establish and maintain quality control standards.
• Develop performance goals and objectives to achieve customer demand and ensure accuracy and quality.
