Servicios Comerciales Amazon Mexico S. de R.L. de C.V. is seeking an Area Manager to lead and develop a team of Amazon Associates in a fulfillment center. You will coach, mentor and drive safety, quality and performance while enabling 24/7 operations and guest experience excellence.

The role requires leading 100–300 hourly associates, applying Lean tools to improve processes, and embracing Amazon’s Leadership Principles to accelerate change and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Can push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds during shifts.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Experience in English-language communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• You and your team of warehouse associates are responsible for getting Amazon customers their orders; trained staff and addressing needs so they can focus on their jobs.
• You take ownership in your work and team and are available to work overtime during Amazon’s peak holiday season and as needed year-round.
• Leading and developing a team of 100-300 hourly associates by embodying Amazon’s Leadership Principles.
• Proactively identifying and leading process improvement initiatives using Lean tools to delight customers.
• Leading change at internet speed, innovation, and driving continuous improvement.
