Job summary

Intugo México, in partnership with a foreign aerospace parts distributor, seeks an Accounts Payable Clerk to support daily AP operations, ensure accurate invoice processing, and maintain proper financial documentation. The role requires experience in finance or accounting, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with teams.

Schedule: Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Pacific Time); Remote initially, with potential on-site.

Qualifications

• Experience in Finance or Accounting department with knowledge of AP systems and GL accounts.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles and GL accounts.
• Experience with automated payables document workflow systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable processes accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely vendor payments.
• Match invoices with POs and receipts, and code invoices to GL accounts.
• Process check requests and credit card payments outside normal cycle as needed.
• Perform timely reconciliations of AP and credit card statements.
• Investigate unpaid invoices and respond to vendor inquiries.
• Assist with month-end closing by recording AP and credit card transactions.
• Support the weekly check disbursement process.
• Assist CFO with month-end closing activities.
• Maintain organized vendor and accounting records.
• Research, track, and resolve accounting discrepancies.

Intugo, in partnership with a foreign company specializing in aerospace parts distribution and supply solutions for military, commercial, and industrial aviation, is looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join its team.

This position will support daily accounts payable operations, ensuring accurate invoice processing, timely vendor payments, account reconciliations, and proper financial documentation. The ideal candidate will have experience in finance or accounting, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with different teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable processes accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely vendor payments.
• Match invoices with purchase orders (POs) and receipts, and code invoices to the appropriate general ledger (GL) accounts.
• Process check requests and credit card payments outside the normal payment cycle as needed.
• Perform timely reconciliations of accounts payable and credit card statements.
• Investigate unpaid invoices and address vendor inquiries professionally.
• Assist with month-end closing by ensuring all accounts payable and credit card transactions are properly recorded.
• Support the weekly check disbursement process.
• Assist the CFO with month-end closing activities.
• Maintain organized vendor and accounting records.
• Research, track, and resolve accounting discrepancies.

What We're Looking For

Must-Haves

• Experience working in a Finance or Accounting department, with knowledge of Accounts Payable systems and procedures.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles and general ledger (GL) accounts.
• Experience with automated payables document workflow systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team.

Highly Valuable / Nice-to-Have

• 1+ years of relevant work experience in the aerospace or manufacturing industry, which may be considered in lieu of an accounting degree.
• Experience with QuickBooks.
• Previous experience handling vendor statements, reconciliations, and month-end closing activities.

Schedule & Work Modality

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Pacific Time).

Modality: Remote initially, with the possibility of being required to work on-site.

Equipment: Basic computer equipment provided by the company.

Compensation & Benefits

Base gross monthly salary: $22,500 MXN
