Our client, a recognized multinational company with significant operations in Mexico, is looking for an experienced Corporate Labor Lawyer to join their legal team in León, Guanajuato. The role is key to ensuring compliance with all applicable labor legislation, advising management on labor relations, and representing the company in lawsuits and administrative proceedings. The ideal candidate will possess a deep knowledge of the Federal Labor Law, as well as best practices in human resources and industrial relations. We desire a professional with strong negotiation, analytical, and conflict‑prevention skills. The candidate will be the main point of contact for all labor matters, working to keep a harmonious and productive workplace.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise management and HR on all aspects of Mexican labor law.
• Draft, review, and update individual employment contracts, internal policies, and labor regulations.
• Represent the company in labor lawsuits, conciliation, and other proceedings before labor authorities (Conciliation Boards, Arbitration Boards, Labor Courts).
• Advise on termination, sanctions, and other disciplinary measures, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Participate in collective negotiations and manage relationships with unions.
• Develop and deliver training on labor topics to management and staff.
• Conduct labor audits to identify and mitigate risks.
