Job summary

Consultoria De Ingenieria Avanzada Vg in León, Guanajuato seeks a Corporate Labor Lawyer to ensure compliance with Mexican labor law and advise management on labor relations. You will represent the company in labor matters and help shape HR policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate has a law degree with labor law specialization, 7+ years in Mexican labor law, and strong negotiation and analytical skills. English proficiency is a strong plus for cross-border activities.

Qualifications

• Law degree with specialization in Labor Law.
• At least 7 years of practical experience in Mexican labor law.
• Deep knowledge of the Federal Labor Law, Social Security Law and Infonavit Law.
• Proven litigation experience and union relations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Advanced English skills is a significant advantage.

Responsibilities

• Advise management and HR on all aspects of Mexican labor law.
• Draft, review, and update employment contracts, policies, and labor regulations.
• Represent the company in labor lawsuits and proceedings before labor authorities.
• Advise on terminations, sanctions and disciplinary measures with regulatory compliance.
• Participate in collective negotiations and manage union relationships.
• Develop and deliver training on labor topics to management and staff.
• Conduct labor audits to identify risks and mitigation measures.
• Stay updated on legislative changes and jurisprudence related to labor matters.
