From the division Sunset Hotels & Resorts, we are looking for a

Director of Sales & Marketing

for METT Milan Torre Velasca, our new

Residences and Suites project, in the iconic Torre Velasca building in the heart of Milan.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage sales and marketing goals and strategies in accordance with the METT brand business strategy, aligning it with the annual sales plan and sales objectives to achieve hotel budgets and maximize revenues.
  • Handle budgets for miscellaneous sales activities and promotions.
  • Manage assigned FIT & Leisure Group accounts and follow up to materialize the budgeted revenues through existing clientele and prospects.
  • Identify sales opportunities by analyzing consumer requirements, market, competitors' share, and strengths and weaknesses; forecast projected business; establish targeted market share.
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands, builds, and promotes strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
  • Analyze overall monthly property performance and provide summary reports with recommendations to improve strategies by account basis.
  • Develop and promote weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales objectives.
  • Evaluate performance of distribution partners and contracted rates (FIT, tour operator, corporate, consortia, crew, groups, etc.).
  • Develop the marketing plan and maintain the brand positioning of the hotel.
  • Prepare and implement action plans; execute production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolve problems; complete audits; identify trends; determine system improvements; implement changes.
  • Achieve sales objectives by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating advertising, merchandising, and trade promotion programs, developing field sales action plans.
  • Develop and manage relationships with external organizations (advertising, public relations agencies, market research firms, etc.).
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Hospitality Management, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position in the hospitality industry (hotel or resort).
  • Fluent in Italian & English.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to represent the brand at international events and fairs.
  • Strong connections to luxury agencies and fashion houses in Milan.
  • Good understanding of the Milan market and local hospitality landscape.
  • Excellent negotiation and leadership skills.
  • Strong planning and budgetary skills.
  • Proven track record of successfully driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets in luxury hospitality environments.
  • Availability to travel.
