To strengthen our continued growth and regional development, we are hiring a Head of Commercial Business to lead our commercial team covering Italy, Spain, Portugal, and Greece. About the role:
In this senior role, you will execute the EMEA strategy at a regional level, ensuring it translates into measurable commercial success. You will lead all commercial initiatives, drive operational excellence, and deliver strong financial results. You will also be a key connector between local markets and the EMEA headquarters, driving growth through leadership and collaboration.
The role will be based, either homebased and/or making use of the OMRON office in Milan, Italy.

Employment Type: Full-time

Key activities:
• Plan the annual budget, manage both revue and expense, and oversee and deliver desired financial results to ensure profitability and growth
• Responsible for relationships with major customers, professional bodies and represent OMRON in external presentations, congresses and exhibitions to increase brand awareness, educate the market and gather market and competitor information
• Manage and develop sales and trade marketing teams, and oversee all sales and trade marketing activities in the designated area, while being responsible for regional P&L.
• Plan, negotiate, oversee, consolidate, control and safeguard accuracy of the annual (sales) budget of the region to achieve sales turnover and gross-profit targets.
• Oversee negotiation, update and maintenance of the legal framework governing the business relationship with clients.
• Manage and lead a small team
• Oversee overall customer satisfaction and maintain a good business relationship between OMRON and the customers in the responsible area.
• Proactively develop and capture innovative business opportunities and collaborations, supporting our portfolio's sustainable and continuous growth and expansion.

The ideal candidate has:
• A master's or bachelor's degree in the field of Business Administration, Economics, or similar area of expertise
• Min 10 years of relevant experience in healthcare, FMCG, OTC Sales, the pharmaceutical market, or related industry
• At least 3 years of people management experience in leading a team of sales professionals.
• Analytical skills, excellent negotiation and influencing skills
• Demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to think strategically while executing initiatives hands-on
• Distributor Management or Key Account Management
• Proficient in the English and local language, both written and verbal
• Experience in Digital Healthcare is an advantage
• Good Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Driver's license
