Position Summary

Huber AgroSolutions (HAS) seeks a Technical Support Specialist to support field trials, develop technical reports, and provide training on our product portfolio. The ideal candidate will have expertise in agronomy, plant nutrition, and agricultural markets, with strong communication and analytical skills. He/she will closely co‑operate with product management and the commercial team to define yearly objectives. This position is fully remote.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provide technical product details to sales teams and customers.
  • Deliver training sessions and create educational materials for internal teams, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Develop technical presentations and instructional aids for various audiences.
  • Field Trials & Research Coordination
  • Oversee field trials for existing and new products, including design, evaluation, and analysis.
  • Collaborate with universities/research centers to conduct trials and report results.
  • Prepare regular updates on trial progress and results for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in developing product positioning for various crops.
  • Sales & Marketing Support
  • Act as a product specialist during client/distributor presentations.
  • Assist Regional Sales Managers in identifying and enhancing commercial relationships.
  • Build relationships with growers, consultants, and distributors to drive sales.
  • Collaborate with the sales team on market research and competitor analysis.
  • Customer Engagement
  • Address technical inquiries via phone, email, or webinars.
  • Investigate product performance complaints and conduct root cause analyses.
  • Provide on‑field support for key customers representing large turnover.
  • Product Development & Feedback
  • Share field insights with the Global Innovation Team and Product Management.
  • Develop comprehensive product application plans, tailored by both crop and customer.
  • Support pre‑launch activities by participating in late‑stage product development tests.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy or related fields required. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2/3 years of experience in agriculture or agronomic roles.
  • Proficiency in specialty agriculture production practices.
  • English B1/B2.
  • Strong analytical, written, oral, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to build partnerships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Self‑starter with attention to detail and a collaborative attitude.
Travel Requirement

Area: Toscana, Marche, Abruzzo, Umbria, Lazio. Ability to travel more than 40% in the designated areas.
