Saipem invites applications for a Sustainability Specialist within the Sustainability Reporting and Materiality Unit. You will support collection, consolidation and validation of sustainability information to prepare the Group’s reporting in line with CSRD, ESRS, EU Taxonomy and other global standards.

You will collaborate with business units to apply reporting standards, assess materiality, and improve reporting processes while handling complex datasets with advanced Excel and data-management

Competenze

• Master's degree in Economics and Finance, Management Engineering, Environmental Sciences or related disciplines.
• Experience with Sustainability Reporting, ESG disclosure and non-financial information assurance.
• Ability to analyse, interpret and manage complex datasets.

Mansioni

• Support collection, consolidation and validation of sustainability information for the Group’s reporting.
• Contribute to materiality assessment to identify key impacts, risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with functions to apply CSRD, ESRS, EU Taxonomy and other ESG frameworks.

Purpose of the position

As Sustainability Specialist you will be part of the Sustainability Reporting and Materiality Unit within the Administration, Financial Statements and Sustainability Reporting Function.

How can you support us?

• Support the collection, consolidation and validation of sustainability information and contribute to the preparation of the Group’s Sustainability Reporting, ensuring completeness, accuracy, traceability and compliance with applicable regulations.
• Support the materiality assessment process to identify the Group’s key sustainability impacts, risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with business and corporate functions in interpreting and applying sustainability reporting requirements, including CSRD, ESRS, EU Taxonomy and other international ESG frameworks.
• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of sustainability reporting processes, digital tools and information systems.
• Monitor developments in national and international sustainability reporting regulations and climate-related disclosure requirements.

What are we looking for

Education

Master's Degree in Economics and Finance, Management Engineering, Environmental Sciences or Related disciplines.

Background

Languages

• Excellent written and spoken English.

Technical/IT Knowledge

Good knowledge of sustainability regulations and reporting standards, including:

• CSRD
• Italian Legislative Decree No. 125/2024
• ESRS issued by EFRAG
• EU Taxonomy
• ISSB Standards (IFRS S1 and IFRS S2)
• GHG Protocol
• Main climate-related reporting frameworks

Knowledge of ESG assurance processes.

Ability to analyse, interpret and manage complex datasets.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting/data management tools.
