Aretè & Cocchi Technology in Milan is looking for a System Engineering Manager to coordinate engineering design activities in critical systems. You will play a key role in driving technical integration and ensuring project success.

The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience, a Master's or Bachelor's in a STEM discipline, and strong IT skills. The position offers a hybrid working model, competitive salary, and corporate benefits including health insurance and flexible hours.

Purpose of the position: As a System Engineering Manager, you will join the ENCAR Business Line, playing a key role in coordinating engineering design activities for critical systems and plant areas that are essential to project success.

You will work closely with the Project Technical Manager, ensuring effective engineering coordination and execution across complex systems such as underground networks, 3D CAD models, modularized units, and highly integrated packages.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities for assigned systems and plant areas throughout the project lifecycle.
• Drive technical integration across engineering disciplines and external Saipem Engineering Centers, enabling effective and timely decision‑making.
• Lead 3D model activities, including planning, reviews, quality control and clash management.
• Ensure compliance with Client requirements, project specifications and contractual obligations.
• Manage engineering deliverables, interfaces, changes and constructability aspects within the assigned scope.
• Monitor engineering man‑hours and material quantities, progress, costs and risks, implementing recovery plans when necessary.
• Act as the primary technical interface with Clients, Vendors and project stakeholders for assigned systems and 3D model activities.
• Support planning and scheduling of engineering activities by ensuring an integrated, efficient and high‑quality engineering design.

What are we looking for?

Education: Master's Degree/bachelor’s degree in: STEM discipline;

Experience: At least 10 years of proven experience in technical supervision, leading teams and/or managing complex projects;

Languages: English B2 (Written and spoken)

IT Skills: SmartPlant Review - Autodesk Navisworks
