Saipem is seeking a Digital Compliance Expert to join the Digital and IT Strategy, Governance and Compliance unit in Milan. You will support GDPR compliance, data protection, and the design of IT controls across regulatory frameworks to safeguard personal data and ensure effective risk management.

You will coordinate control activities, evidence collection, remediation plans and executive reporting, while training System Administrators and strengthening the organization’s privacy posture in line

Competenze

• Master’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT compliance / governance.
• Proficient knowledge of ITGCs/GCs, COSO/COBIT, GDPR, and Italian DP law.

Mansioni

• Support GDPR compliance and data protection requirements.
• Implement and monitor IT controls and risk mitigations.
• Assist training of System Administrators per regulatory needs.
• Monitor IT compliance across frameworks (CSRD, GDPR, NIS2, TCF).
• Coordinate controls, evidence collection, remediation plans, and executive reporting.

Purpose of the position:

As Digital Compliance Expert, within the Digital and IT Strategy, Governance and Compliance unit, you will be part of the Digital and IT Area

How can you support us?

• Support the Privacy Compliance Officer in ensuring compliance with GDPR and corporate data protection requirements.
• Implement and monitor technical and organizational measures to ensure the protection and proper processing of personal data.
• Support the designation and training of System Administrators in line with regulatory requirements.
• Support the Digital Risk Owner in monitoring IT compliance and the effectiveness of internal controls across regulatory frameworks (L.262/2005, CSRD, GDPR, NIS2, Tax Control Framework).
• Coordinate control activities, evidence collection, remediation plans, and executive reporting to ensure continuous compliance and risk mitigation.

What are we looking for?

Education: Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Management Engineering, Law or Economics or Master’s degree with equivalent experience;

Experience: 5 years

Languages: English (B2)

Technical Skills: proficient knowledge of IT General Controls or General Computer Controls, COSO and COBIT frameworks, GDPR and the Italian Data Protection legislation and the main decisions of Italian Data Protection Authority.

Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), ISO/IEC 27001 Auditor/Lead Auditor certification, ISO/IEC 20000 Auditor/Lead Auditor certification, ISO/IEC 22301 Auditor/Lead Auditor certification, Certifications in SAP and SAP BW /4HANA, NIST Framework, ITIL 4 Foundation are considered as Plus.

IT Skills: proficient knowledge of ACL or similar tools, SAP audit techniques, Office365 and Copilot365.

Proficient knowledge of Copilot studio and Ms Power Platform are considered as Plus.
