Salesforce in Rome, Italy, seeks a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to own end-to-end deployment of agentic AI solutions for our most strategic customers, from architecture decisions through production handoff. You’ll design, implement, and govern scalable AI systems with high engineering standards.

Competenze

• Six+ years in software engineering or technical delivery with end-to-end ownership of scalable enterprise AI systems.
• Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Expert in at least one of Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex; conversant with others.
• Experience integrating LLMs into production; familiarity with LangChain or LlamaIndex.
• Deep experience in data modeling, processing, and analytics with platforms like Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, or Databricks.

• Own end-to-end build and deployment of agentic AI solutions for Salesforce's strategic customers.
• Design and ship agentic systems on the Agentforce platform; establish patterns and guardrails.
• Manage data lifecycle across Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, and Databricks.
• Resolve blockers in data integration, deployment, orchestration, and performance.
• Build dashboards and KPI reporting to monitor deployment health and outcomes.
• Develop proofs-of-concept and MVPs; codify learnings into playbooks.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and pairing sessions.
• Surface field insights to Product and Engineering; influence roadmaps.
• Collaborate with Deployment Strategist to translate business challenges into solutions.
