Salesforce is seeking Forward Deployed Engineers to own end-to-end delivery of agentic AI solutions for strategic customers. You will lead technical execution, mentor engineers, and help define engineering standards in collaboration with Deployment Strategists.

You’ll apply Python/JavaScript/TypeScript/Java/Apex, LangChain, and data platforms to design, build, and operate production systems at scale, with travel to customer sites as needed. Italian/English business proficiency is required.

Competenze

• 4+ years of software engineering or technical delivery experience with end-to-end ownership of scalable production systems in enterprise AI, cloud, or SaaS environments.
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Expert in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex; conversant in others.
• Experience integrating LLMs into production using LangChain or LlamaIndex and responsible AI practices.
• Deep experience in data modeling, processing, and analytics with platforms like Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, or Databricks.
• Salesforce platform expertise: Agentforce, Apex, LWC, Flows, and Salesforce APIs.
• Entrepreneurial, get-things-done mindset focused on fast, impactful delivery.
• Mentored engineers and created reusable assets and playbooks.
• Clear communication with engineering peers, customer architects, and executives.
• Willingness to travel to client sites; business proficiency in Italian and English.

Mansioni

• Own end-to-end build and deployment of agentic AI solutions for Salesforce’s strategic customers, from architecture decisions to production handoff.
• Design and ship agentic systems on the Agentforce platform: agent logic, tool calls, multi-agent orchestration, and integration patterns for enterprise environments.
• Own the data lifecycle: model design, processing pipelines, and data readiness for AI applications across Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, Databricks, and customer platforms.
• Resolve blockers in data integration, model deployment, and orchestration; mentor engineers via code reviews and paired sessions.
• Build and maintain agent performance dashboards and KPI reporting to track deployment health and outcomes.
• Develop proofs-of-concept and MVPs; codify learnings into reusable assets and playbooks.
