Job summary

Leica Microsystems is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support customers across the Triveneto region (Padova/Venezia) with remote-first coverage. You will perform service, repair and installation tasks at customer sites, ensuring high-quality after-sales support and driving continuous improvement with the Service Team.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering, fluency in English and Italian, and willingness to travel up to 70% within Italy. A valid driver’s license is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Engineer Degree Required.
• Fluent in English and Italian.
• Ability to travel within Italy (up to 70%).

Responsibilities

• Delight customers with timely, competent responses and collaborate with Service Team.
• Conduct service, repair and installation of products at customer sites per maintenance contracts.
• Diagnose system failures and provide cost-effective solutions; escalate as needed.
