Job summary

Bruker Corporation seeks an Advanced Field Service Engineer to provide on-site and remote support to Italian Clinical and LifeScience customers. This role covers installation, maintenance and training on a range of Bruker instruments, with frequent travel across Italy and abroad.

You will join the Italy service team under the Service Manager Italy, contributing to high-value diagnostics and diverse life science applications, with a focus on quality and customer success.

Qualifications

• Degree in scientific engineering, chemistry, physics, or a related field.
• Solid technical or scientific background gained in industry or academia.
• Several years of experience with Clinical or LifeScience technology.
• Ability to independently install and commission advanced instrumentation.
• Excellent communication skills in English (C1).
• Driving licence valid in Italy and the EU.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, service and provide technical support for instruments at customers’ sites.
• Liaise with customers and colleagues during site planning and installation.
• Inspect, install, test and certify systems and train operators.
• Carry out breakdown and planned maintenance, including on-call scenarios.
• Provide remote or on-site technical input to sales and customers.
• Travel frequently within Italy and internationally when required.
