Job summary

Leica Biosystems, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Field Service Engineer for Roma/Lazio. The role focuses on installation, maintenance, and repair of Advanced Staining instruments in clinical settings.

You will communicate with customers, document service activities, and ensure compliance with ISO and FDA guidelines. The ideal candidate has a technical diploma and 3+ years in biomedical FSE, good English, strong IT skills, and willingness to travel up to 80% with some trainings abroad.

Qualifications

• Technical High School Diploma or equivalent in mechanical, electrical or electronic fields.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer in Biomedical industry (hospital equipment).
• Good English (written and spoken).
• Good IT skills; instruments connect to networks and PC-based software.
• Willingness to travel extensively (up to 80%), including trainings abroad.
• Experience in Anatomy Pathology is a plus and ability to work autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Provide installation, maintenance, modification and/or repair on Advanced Staining instruments in the field.
• Communicate effectively with internal colleagues and external customers within established time guidelines.
• Document service activities to comply with ISO, FDA and company policies.
