Job summary

Bruker is seeking an Advanced Field Service Engineer to provide onsite support to Clinical and LifeScience customers in Italy. Based in Italy (Naples/M Milan area) with remote execution and frequent travel, you will join the EMEA service team supporting a broad instrument range.

The role requires a solid scientific/technical background, several years in LifeScience tech, and strong English. You will install, train customers, troubleshoot, and support sales with technical input.

Qualifications

Degree or equivalent in scientific engineering, chemistry, physics, or related field.
Solid technical or scientific background gained in industry or academia.
Several years of experience with Clinical or LifeScience technology.
Ability to independently install and commission advanced instrumentation.
Experience in training users on equipment operation.
Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve issues.
Fluent English (spoken and written, C1).
Willingness to travel internationally (EU and USA).
Driving licence valid in Italy and the EU.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, service, and provide technical support for instruments.
Liaise with customers and colleagues in site planning prior to installation.
Inspect, install, set up, test and validate systems at customers’ sites and provide basic operator training.
Carry out breakdown and planned maintenance; may include 24/6 callout.
Provide technical input and remote support to customers and colleagues.
Travel within Italy and internationally as required.
