Leica Microsystems, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Field Service Engineer in Italy with a remote-friendly setup. Based in the Triveneto region (Padova or Venezia), travel up to 70% within Italy is expected.

Responsibilities include installing, servicing and repairing confocal and microscopy systems, and supporting the sales team with installations and demonstrations. The role offers a salary range and bonus eligibility based on experience.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s Engineer Degree Required or similar.
• Fluent in English and Italian.
• Excellent Microsoft Office application skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to travel within the Triveneto Region and rest of Italy up to 70%.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to lift/move equipment.

Mansioni

• Delight customers with timely, competent responses and collaborate with the Service Team.
• Support Sales Representatives with installations and demos/exhibitions.
• Conduct service, repair and installation of products at customer sites.
• Respond to customer support calls within the assigned territory.
• Diagnose system failures and determine cost-effective solutions.
• Escalate issues as needed and identify new opportunities in the field.
