Job summary

Bruker is seeking an Advanced Field Service Engineer to provide onsite support to Clinical and LifeScience customers in Italy. The role covers installation, maintenance and service of instrumentation, with frequent domestic travel and occasional international travel.

Based in Italy (preferably Milan or Naples), the position is remote in execution but requires readiness to visit customer sites and collaborate with a regional service team. The role reports to the Service Manager Italy.

Qualifications

• Degree in scientific engineering, chemistry, physics, or a related field.
• Solid technical background gained in industry or academia.
• Several years of experience with Clinical or LifeScience technology.
• Ability to independently install and commission advanced instrumentation.
• Experience in training users on equipment operation.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Good computer literacy, including familiarity with data system hardware and standard operating systems.
• Fluent English (min. C1).
• Driving licence valid in Italy and the EU.
• Willingness to travel internationally (EU and USA).

Responsibilities

• Install and commission advanced instrumentation at customers' sites.
• Provide onsite service, maintenance and technical support.
• Liaise with customers and colleagues during installation planning.
• Deliver basic operator training and remote diagnostics.
• Support sales with technical input in non-routine cases.
• Frequent travel within Italy and occasionally abroad.
