Job summary

Hitachi Energy Italy S.p.A. is seeking an OS SAS Portfolio Manager to drive portfolio growth by aligning market opportunities with the global product portfolio and internal delivery capabilities.

You will serve as the key interface among Market Management, Sales, Global Product Groups, Engineering, and Operations to ensure readiness for future opportunities across transmission, distribution, and related sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience within Substation Automation Systems, Power Transmission & Distribution, or related industries.
• Proven experience in portfolio management, product management, strategy, business development, or market management.
• Strong understanding of customer needs, market dynamics, and technology roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Market & Portfolio Leadership: Monitor market developments, competitive activity, regulatory changes, and technology trends.
• Organizational Development: Define capability development plans and competency requirements; drive standardization and digitalization.
• Business Growth: Support strategic customer engagements and growth initiatives; ensure alignment between pipeline and execution.
• Execution & Governance: Lead implementation of strategic initiatives and report portfolio performance to leadership.
