Job summary

European Energy Italy seeks a Senior Portfolio Manager to own the financial and commercial view of the Italian development pipeline. You will ensure robust business cases for projects and lead negotiations with developers, reflecting true value and risk.

You will collaborate with development, engineering, grid, permitting, energy markets, and finance teams to turn pipeline data into clear go/no-go decisions and prioritisation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of renewable energy experience in portfolio management, investment, M&A or project finance.
• Hands-on experience building and auditing project finance models in Excel, including sensitivities and scenario analysis.
• Fluent Italian and English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Own the financial and commercial view of the Italian development pipeline and ensure robust business cases.
• Lead or support commercial negotiations with developers and counterparties.
• Run periodic financial reviews of the pipeline, build cash flows and budgets, and validate strategies.
• Design and improve pipeline tools, dashboards, and standard model templates.
