Hitachi Energy in Milan is seeking a senior engineer to lead GIS/AIS project activities within the Grid & Power Quality Solutions and Service unit. You will collaborate with diverse stakeholders across engineering, procurement, and operations to deliver safe, reliable grid solutions.

The role requires a Bachelor's or Master’s in Electrical/Energy/Mechanical Engineering and 5–7 years of relevant experience in GIS/AIS and EPC power plants, with strong English and Italian communication, and a

Competenze

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical/Energy/Mechanical Engineering or similar field.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in GIS (gas insulated switchgear) and/or AIS (air insulated switchgear) and/or EPC power plants.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and manage projects and people.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; teamwork and problem solving.
• Proficiency in English and Italian, written and spoken.

• Evaluating, selecting and applying standard techniques for conventional projects with limited complexity.
• Acting as design authority for a specific engineering discipline.
• Collaborating on project installation, commissioning and site activities with issue clarification and technical support.
