JD Ross Energy in Milan, Italy, is seeking a Commercial Contracts Specialist / Legal Counsel to support renewable energy and energy storage projects across Italy and the EMEA region. You will negotiate, draft, and manage commercial agreements, provide risk assessments, and advise project teams.

The role requires a law degree and 3–5+ years in renewables or infra, with strong drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Competenze

Degree in Law or related field.
3–5+ years of experience in renewable energy, energy storage, construction or infra.
Strong contract drafting and commercial law knowledge.
Experience in a Contracts, Commercial or Legal department.
Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to explain complex legal matters to non-legal audiences.
Analytical, proactive and commercially focused.
Fluent Italian (C1).

Mansioni

Negotiate, draft, and manage commercial contracts for renewable energy projects across Italy and EMEA.
Support contract activities for Solar PV and Energy Storage units.
Review and prepare framework agreements, sales contracts, NDAs, and terms & conditions.
Identify contractual risks and propose practical commercial solutions.
Lead contract negotiations with customers.
Prepare contract summaries and risk assessments for project teams.
Support resolution of contractual and commercial disputes.
Ensure compliance with internal governance and processes.
