Job summary

UPM Raflatac is seeking a Technical Sales Manager to join our Technical Sales & Support team in Milano or remote, Italy. You will drive sales through technical expertise, engage customers, and lead cross-functional projects.

This role combines commercial focus with label materials knowledge, consulting and project leadership in a changing, international environment. You will build strong customer relationships and translate insights into value.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in pressure-sensitive label materials and practical experience in label converting, printing and labeling application technologies.
• Commercially minded and able to connect technical solutions with customer value and growth.
• Experience in customer-facing technical work, consultative selling, application development or a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales development through technical expertise, customer engagement and solution-oriented collaboration.
• Act as a customer-facing contact for technical inquiries, coordinating with internal functions.
• Identify and progress technically demanding opportunities from need to feasibility, testing and implementation.
• Provide expert consultation on label materials, converting, printing and labeling technologies.
• Lead customer technical projects end-to-end with planning, coordination and risk management.
• Support product homologation, trials and new product implementation with defined criteria.
• Build long-term customer relationships and communicate capabilities clearly.
• Translate insights from market, customers and competitors into input for portfolio development.
