Job summary

Redline Group is partnering with a global leader in electronics distribution to recruit a technically minded professional for a Technical Sales role in Milan. Based from the Milan office on a hybrid basis, the successful candidate will transition from engineering to technical sales, supporting growth across Italy.

The role offers training, exposure to Test & Measurement technologies, and progression within an international sales environment. Fluent Italian and English are required.

Qualifications

• Background in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or instrumentation.
• Experience in technical environments like Electronics Engineering or Technical Support.
• Interest in moving into technical/commercial sales.
• Fluent Italian and English communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business and increase market share across Italy.
• Identify and qualify new customer and commercial opportunities.
• Understand customer requirements and identify appropriate solutions.
• Build relationships with engineers, technical stakeholders and commercial decision-makers.
• Manage and grow an active, unassigned customer base.
• Collaborate with internal sales and technical teams to maximise opportunities.
• Support key accounts and larger commercial opportunities.
• Develop understanding of Test & Measurement products and applications.
• Progress opportunities from initial engagement to conversion.
• Maintain accurate pipeline information and provide regular reporting.
