Job summary

Adaptavist is seeking a Consulting Solutions Engineer to lead technical pre-sales engagements across DevOps, ITSM and Work Management. You will design end-to-end solutions, run workshops, deliver tailored demos, and produce architecture documents that translate business needs into scalable, secure technical architectures.

You will partner with Account Executives to drive qualification, discovery, and win-rate improvements, while advocating best practices in transformation and operating models

Qualifications

• Fluent Italian skills, written and verbal.
• Experience in Solutions Engineering or a Consulting role.
• Strong experience in pre-sales or customer-facing technical roles.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Knowledge of containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Proficiency in scripting/programming (Python, Bash, or Go).
• Familiar with service management platforms (Jira Service Management).
• Knowledge of ITIL and ITSM processes.
• Experience with work management platforms (Jira, Monday.com).

Responsibilities

• Pre-Sales Technical Support coordinating with Account Executives.
• Lead discovery sessions across DevOps, Service Management, and Work Management.
• Deliver tailored demonstrations covering CI/CD, ITSM/ESM workflows, and work management use cases.
• Create solution scoping documents and pricing inputs for quotes and SOWs.
• Own and deliver proofs of concepts (POCs).
• Respond to RFPs/RFIs with technical input.
• Collaborate with Field CTO Practices and marketing to align roadmaps.
