Job summary

The Adaptavist Group is a global tech consultancy renowned for Atlassian-based implementations and ITSM/ESM excellence. We seek a Senior Technical Consultant to guide customers, design solutions, and drive efficiency through integration, automation, and architecture.

This remote-first role emphasizes autonomy, pre-sales involvement, and ongoing capability growth, with a strong focus on Jira Service Management, Assets, and Opsgenie as the core delivery stack.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in consulting with a strong focus on the Atlassian toolset.
• Excellent organizational, prioritization, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to autonomously lead engagements, drive customer relationships, and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Knowledge of ITIL and its application in ITSM and ESM.
• Experience with web integration using REST APIs and scripting in Groovy/Python.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and propose tailored Atlassian solutions.
• Act as trusted advisor on ITSM/ESM best practices using ITIL.
• Develop high-level architecture and delivery approaches for client needs.
• Configure Atlassian solutions and integrate with other systems via REST APIs.
• Support pre-sales with scope, estimates, and high-level design; travel as needed.
