G2 Travel in Italy is seeking a Destination Manager – Italy Provinces to lead hotel contracting outside the main cities. Based in Rome or remotely in Italy, you’ll own the commercial relationship with hotels and drive the most competitive offering.

Key activities include securing exclusive contracts, visiting hotels, targeting new accounts, and achieving room-night and revenue targets through rate optimization.

Qualifications

• Min 2 years’ travel industry experience, hotel contracting or sales.
• Strong work ethic with ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent negotiation and influencing skills at all levels.
• Recent hotel contracting experience in destination.
• Strong knowledge of hotel distribution.
• Excellent written and spoken Italian and English.
• Proficient data analysis to drive growth.
• MS Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Secure exclusive hotel contracts and manage supplier relations.
• Identify new strategic accounts and suppliers to target.
• Conduct regular hotel visits and business trips within contracting area.
• Achieve room night and revenue targets through rate optimisation.
• Be the hotel expert for the assigned region.
• Develop relationships with sales leaders and management worldwide.
• Analyse data and provide recommendations to management.
• Lead training and ad-hoc projects.
• Represent G2 Travel at trade shows and events.
