Grand Circle in Rome seeks a Country Manager to lead day-to-day operations and drive performance across tours and trips. You will manage Trip Leaders and TEL performance, coordinate hiring, training, and scheduling, and foster strong vendor relationships to meet company goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor’s degree educational background.
• Proven travel industry and staff management experience (min 5 years).
• Excellent interpersonal/communication and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in written & spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations to achieve quality goals and accuracy for products.
• Support Hiring/Training/Scheduling/Coaching/Managing Trip Leaders and TEL performance.
• Build a high-performing trip leaders’ team embodying company culture and values.
• Drive performance in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure.
• Engage with travelers on sites to support trip leaders/TELs and gather live feedback.
• Develop vendor relationships and support buying goals.
• Design new tours and evaluate experiences that immerse travelers in Italian culture.
• Provide 24/7 emergency support and resolve operations/customer issues.
