Grand Circle seeks a Country Manager in Rome to oversee day-to-day operations, drive quality goals, and ensure accuracy across products.

You will lead and coach a team of trip leaders and TELs, manage vendors, and design itineraries that showcase Italian culture, while delivering 24/7 emergency support.

Candidates should have 5+ years travel industry leadership, a bachelor’s degree, and fluent English; the company offers a fixed €50,000 salary with additional benefits.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years travel industry leadership experience.
• Bachelor’s degree educational background.
• Excellent interpersonal / communication and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in written & spoken English.
• Proven vendor relations and negotiation skill is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word / Excel.
• Ability to implement global corporate company performance-driven strategy.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee day-to-day operations to meet quality goals and accuracy for products.
• Support Hiring/Training/Scheduling/Coaching/Managing Trip Leaders/TELs' performance to meet guidelines.
• Create a strong, high performing trip leaders’ team aligned with culture and values.
• Drive performance in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure.
• Participate with travelers on sites to support trip leaders/TELs and obtain live feedback.
• Foster relationships with vendors and support buying goals.
• Design new tours and authentic experiences reflecting Italian culture.
• Provide 24/7 emergency support and resolve operations/customer issues.
