Leica Microsystems is seeking an Advanced Workflow Specialist – Electron Microscopy Sample Preparation to support pre-sales and post-sales activities across the EMEA region. The role involves demonstrations, trainings and workflow optimization for EM sample prep solutions.

You will bridge customers with Sales, BDM, Product Management and R&D, contributing to growth while traveling 40–50% and basing near Milan to serve regional customers efficiently.

Competenze

• Advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in Life Sciences, Materials Science, or a related scientific discipline.
• Hands-on experience with electron microscopy (EM) sample preparation techniques (e.g., cryo-EM workflows, CLEM workflows, ultramicrotomy, coating, freeze-fracture). Experience with light microscopy workflows is advantageous.
• Ability and willingness to travel frequently across the EMEA region.
• Proficiency in English (technical and conversational); additional European languages, particularly German, are an advantage.

Mansioni

• Deliver pre-sales and post-sales application support, including on-site and virtual demonstrations, customer trainings, and workflow optimization.
• Plan, execute, and support customer workshops, seminars, and advanced application sessions focused on electron microscopy sample preparation workflows.
• Support marketing initiatives through scientific content contributions for webinars, conferences, workshops, and promotional materials.
• Develop and contribute to application data, success stories, and reference workflows that support the commercial organization.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of customer activities, demos, and trainings in CRM systems (e.g., SFDC).
